so i managed to get the load off my chest. it felt as good as taking a massive dump. only this wasn't something you do alone in private. i got the load off, yeah, in private... it involved having to be careful enough to not say stupid uncalled-for stuff. and going about this while drunk? heh, you can only imagine how that went.

but this is it, and we can all just hope for the best.

i was walking about a long stretch with a couple of people who suddenly vanished soon as we got to this cafe-slash-bar place. somewhere along the walk, i saw a whole vacant lot with cats scattered there like rubbish. some of the cats were munching on this other cat's head. eewww, i know. a bit later on, i was trying to bash the ex's face in. also there was this other girl who'd been in a dream of the same sort (the sort where i'm there hoping to bring the ex to a bloody pulp) then blah blah blah.

anyway, here's something i found up on my friendster bulletin board:

approach between the two planets in recorded history.

By the end of August when Earth and Mars are closest, Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its highest
point in the sky at 12:30a.m.

The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes to within 34,649,589 miles of Earth and will
be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky.

That's pretty convenient to see something that no human being has seen in recorded history. So, mark
your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month. And be sure to watch the sky on August 27th. It will look like the Earth has two moons!

The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and
perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth
in the last 5,000 years, but it may be as long as 60,000 years before it happens again.

oh the things people do to try and make themselves feel better. some people have a tough time coming to terms with being knee deep in their own shit, i mean, they can AT LEAST start by pretending it's only down to their ankles.

i'm only bothered because i can actually hear all this nonsense from someone who is too close to home. and to think that person found it in them to get all bothered by these nifty hot pants i got as a gift around summer. you know, those pants that have half your ass exposed? pants like that. how i wish i could tell her this: "please get off my back and gimme a break! don't pretend that you don't sneak into my bedroom and rummage about my stuff. hell, for all i care, i bet YOU want a pair of these for yourself! and don't say you didn't take those knickers... i know damn well that you did, don't make me get all rude trying to prove to you that i do... "

of course it'd be pointless doing that, more fuss means more fuel to the fire they dance around and keep.

of course there's something me and my big mouth can do about it. it's just a damn shame when i have to stitch up the corners that i manage to so mindlessly rip. every stitch marking every annoyance i feel for myself. knowing that after every stitch, i ought to be less annoyed.

i have to remind myself to be more considerate of others. crap like, sure it's fine by me, but is it fine by others? or at least fine by the others that matter to me? oh well, next time. there's always a next time. and in this context, there shouldn't be a repeat offense. next time, i ought just zip it.

i've got my faith in a bundle and i'm clutching on to it nice and tight. something tells me it's all i need to hang on to as far as this is concerned.

the trouble with inside jokes is, you can't have an inside joke if you're the only one who gets it. there's no true point. laughter is so much more fun shared, and when the other can't get it? you can bet he's not okay with not being able to laugh with you.

today someone told me he hates me. why, he adds, is because he loves me. and he says that the worst part of this all is, he really does (love me) - is it just me or does the crumpling of my face make so much sense?

i want to be all smiles, and there's really nothing that oughta be able to stop me. but no, there a set of things doing laps inside of my skull, and the only way to deal with it is by having a good word with the said hater/lover, then wrapping it all up by wrapping arms, around each other, that is.

woke up early today, and unusually happy was the day i woke up to.

see, someone i heart and know had this happen to him this afternoon. he couldn't remember what the dream was, or if he'd actually had one... but he said he was really crying when he woke up. he even had to try and catch his breath for a moment there. it was the sad kind of weeping and not the, you know, tears of joy sort.

oh well, it'll occur to him, one way or another.

hmm.

everything's been good with me (not exactly productive or whatever else that would be nice for a young adult such as myself) but i've been VERY happy, and that's more than "a good thing".

this stuff is great for when i get on with the other things, like, you know, getting my arse back in school, and i dunno... stuff that i can be busy with and make profit from... must not rush myself, but i must not take too long at gathering myself up in a tight bundle either.
